That Sunday Feeling.

Today was rather unremarkable, the sun shone, blue sky's aplenty and no obligations were on the cusp of urgency. So I decided to reach out to my roots and spent time with my grandmother. I don't usually have the time for family, due to no fault of my own; the life of a budding contributor to society can be rather unforgiving on ones personal life.
Let me tell you a little about my family heritage before I begin. My father and his side of the family originated in South Africa, whilst my mother's family began in Greece. Needless to say my heritage can be compared to the likeness of a mixing pot, being Australian born myself.
Today I visited my grandmother on my fathers side. The stories you can learn about your own family are endless it would seem...I also realised that even though family is close, that connection isn't what keeps them company. I could tell that having someone to talk to really made her day... We spoke for the good half of a day, with intermission only to take the occasional photo and for lunch.
The day ended when it was time for my university routine to begin, a 3 o'clock bus for a 4 o'clock start. My classes came and passed without a hitch, the end of which signalled for me to meet with the love of my life. Caitlyn. Tonight was the night for one of our rare dates, not that we aren't together frequently; We just enjoy spending our time together inside. The night consisted of mini-golf and burgers. Romantic. I know. But that's just how we are, perfect in my humble opinion.
The night ended with my abysmal golfing abilities leading to Caitlyn's complete and utter victory. I never realised how hard getting a golfball through a dinosaur statue was... until I attempted it 22 times.
With that night came to a close as we ended up back at my house, were a quiet night with Netflix was spent. A real 'Netflix and Chill' if I've ever had one.
I've begun to compile some photos for you all to view and be apart of in your own way, so soon you'll be able to really experience life through unknown eyes.
A word from the writer.
Josh.
