This week encompasses the turning point of my studies for this trimester at university. I've completed over half of my expected work now and I'm well on the way to completing this years load of studies. With that being written, I cannot stress enough how ready I am to finish this year, and be able to concentrate on something other than an encroaching deadline.
Today instead of writing from my desk, I write from the silent section of my university library. being surrounded by an archive of books creates certain sense of solace that isn't offered at home. As if inspiring me to write even more than what I already do, and to have my name upon the spine of a book along side other published authors. I write.
First and foremost, last week you would have noticed the first images to be included within a post. You can expect that there will be a lot more to come as it will soon become a common theme to my blog.
So as the end of the trimester crawls ever so slowly towards me, deadlines are becoming more prevalent than ever. Major assignments are beginning to compile into a jumbled mess that I'll have the pleasure to experience in a month, but with that being said I am a hard worker and have a knack for getting myself out of these undesirable situations. Heres a brief summary of what I get to experience; a research report comprising of 2000 words; a community news story that demands more interviews; a marketing mix plan it just oozes fun; and finally an exam worth almost half of my overall marks. You can probably imagine how fantastic of a time it will be when I'm juggling all of these. Due within the same week I should add. But as much as doing work for university is an uphill struggle at times, I need to keep in mind that this load is less than half of the entire trimester; meaning that I've completed more than what this wall of academic bricks has left to offer already.
So as you'd expect, my humble readers, times will be testing as of the next few weeks, but I will do my utmost to keep you all updated. This blog is my safe-haven and will always remain so.
Don't expect it to be going anywhere soon.
A word from the writer.
Josh.
