In the Lurch.

The end of the week has come to a close, and with that marking the first opportunity to post over the past 7 days.

This week has encompassed some turbulent times, focussing on churning out assignments. Monday began with a merciless slap in the face, this slap being in the form of a 2000 word essay. You'd be surprised how efficient one can work with a deadline rearing its ugly face. I spent my entire Monday night 4pm - 9pm tirelessly typing at my computer, citing sources and honing my Harvard skills. Come Tuesday and I had finished the assignment completely, leaving the rest of the week to plan for the next 2 assignments... The relentless onslaught that I've been tasked with will soon reach its end, as long as I continue to persevere. Tuesday was a rather uneventful day, university came and passed within what seemed like a few minutes. That night I decided that a hearty rest was in order after Monday's ceaseless working.

Wednesday was an interesting day, the only class that demanded my attendance was being taught by a renowned weather Journalist. The course topic for the night was, if you hadn't guessed it, based around weather Journalism and how to find a reliable source. The focus of our investigation being, 'Where should we go to find a source that can comment on cyclone Irma?' The class discussion was scintillating and I personally enjoyed it. Once the night had come to a close, it was time to prepare questions for my Journalism community story. My topic of choice being the introduction of paid parking in my suburb, which I believe is going to be no more than a revenue maker for the local council, but that's besides the point. With the creation of my story and preparation of my interviews complete, the night came to a tidy end.

Thursday was the highlight of my week, class was simple, the sun was out and it was just a well-rounded 'good day'. I spent the better part of the afternoon with my other half and was simply in bliss, love is one hell of a drug. We spent the night together, parting ways on Friday, an always miserable proceeding.

Friday was a quiet day spent at home. The day passed as I prepared my exam schedule and made sure I was still on track. Sticking to an assessment plan is always an anxious task, because more likely than not you'll find that there was more work to do than when you started.

The weekend was a blur as I spent time with friends, that helped me to relax before I get swamped by the wave of assignment work that is to be completed. Starting tomorrow. With relaxing out of the way, I begin my descent into madness as these next two weeks become a hectic passing blur. Two major assignments in two weeks is a challenge I'm sure I can overcome, so wish me luck my humble readers...

P.S: With work on the rise I'll only be posting once a week, starting this week and aim to get back on schedule once my exams are over for the year, in about 3 weeks.

A word from the worker,

Josh.
