This weeks post will be relatively short, as not too much had happened over the past 7 days. A point to mention is that this week is the second last of my first year of university, so I'm feeling pretty good right about now. The catch is, that my final exam is next Saturday. So as much as I'd like to laze around for the next week coming, sadly once again it will be time for me to hit the books. And come a week after my exam, some therapeutic literal book hitting will be in order.
So this week all I've really been doing is what I like to call pre-exam, post-assignment relaxation. Which is done by taking it as easy as I see fit for the week, before I jump head-first straight back into my studying habits. So with that being said, this week I chilled out with friends almost every night, and spent time with my beautiful girlfriend as much as I could. It was the breath of fresh air I needed before this cyclonic wind beat me back into academic submission.
Now that the week has come to its close, my mental preparation must come to its end. I, with all confidence can write, that once this week is completed an immense weight will have unclasped its horrible grip from my brain and wandered off. Waiting for its next chance to strike in just over 4 months time. Not to celebrate prematurely, but I think this upcoming exam will be but a light breeze against my face. This next exam is my final hurdle to freedom for the rest of the year, and using the following week to study I not only want to just make the metaphorical jump, but leave the atmosphere with the amount of clearance I get.
The next week will offer its own challenges no doubt, but I believe that I can definitely survive it with a little blood, sweat and mental strain.
A word from the soon-to-be-free writer.
Josh.
