Freedom with a catch.

I've done it. The final hurdle has been cleared. I'm now free of anymore deadlines for the next few months.

This week has encompassed a hurricane of emotions and inner turmoil, as I admit I began studying for this exam a little later than intended. But I pulled through, and spent almost 4 days studying non-stop until I felt I was prepared enough to face this sizeable foe head-on.

All I can say is that without studying I would have been well and truly screwed... I would not have expected a first-year subject to include such a vast array of technical language. The exam itself wasn't too hard, once I wrapped my head around all the language that was used to trip us up it was an honest cakewalk. With that I've earned my ticket to a few months worth of holiday. I couldn't be any happier. But holidays of this length always come with a catch.

With the eve of my holiday now being a thing of the past, it's time for some serious job searching. With that being said, this October marks a new phase of my life, where working will make up the majority of my time. As I've written before, at a time where I currently don't have a job, I don't have the luxury to be picky. As long as I find any work I'll be happy. Even being a checkout assistant would make me happy.

With university officially coming to a close for the year I need to thank my friends and family for the support they've given me through all the rough patches. As much as this blog is a hobby, it can't offer all the support that another being brings. So to those of you who read this and have supported me over the year, Thank you.

With all of the gushy stuff out of the way, lets look towards the future.

As you've read recently, a lot of my writings have been academically based as I slowly powered through the year as a student. But now that it's all over I'll be once again writing my thoughts on subjects other than "the next crushing deadline." So my humble readers, look forward to the rest of the year, as my views shift and I have more time to write about things that matter to me once more.

In the end this blog is a space where you, the reader, can experience life through somebody else's existence and I don't plan on stopping any time soon.

So with that I leave you.

A word from the writer.

Josh.
