Searching for the one.

That 'one' being a paying job. With last week being the pinnacle of 2017, this week has been somewhat of a drag. I've realised that I'm a bit of an oddity when it comes to my life at work, that oddity being my severe lack of a workplace. In this day and age being 18 and not having a job causes alarm bells to ring to some people. This being said the fact that I'm surrounded by high-achieving peers that are currently working either full-time tireless swim teaching shifts or even helping in the preparation of the 2018 commonwealth games has left me feeling somewhat longing for work.

This week that changes, I've begun a full-blown search for a position in any workplace I can think of. From the corner-store down the road, to the outlet retail store in the biggest mall I could find, no one is safe from the onslaught that is my resume. Everyday so far I've gone out on my own in search of work, but this adventure of mine has yet to give me any results. I won't back down until I receive some sort of offer, an interview perhaps? All that matters is that I no longer laze around at home using my double-degree Which Im currently on a one-term break from as a means to excuse myself from the opportunity to work.

As I search, I'll continue to keep you all updated about my quest for a spot on the payroll every week until I find it. The one. The place that finally offers this currently lost soul a job.
